We invite you on an exciting boat tour through the entire watercourse of Tepuhueico! This experience will take you along a tributary river, a lake, and its mouth, culminating in some of the park’s most important landmarks, such as the Los Codos Trail, Río Bravo Waterfall, and Plaza los Mañíos. Includes a box lunch with a sandwich, fruit, snacks, and a drink.
Duration: 3.5 to 4 hours.

With one of our park rangers, you’ll walk from our lodge to the mouth of Lake Tepuhueico and the slopes of the Río Bravo headwaters, through a regenerating forest dominated by ferns. You’ll pass a 10-meter-high waterfall, with caramel-colored waters descending into a narrow, deep channel inhabited by the endangered huillín and home to the kingfisher. You’ll also visit Plaza los Mañíos, where ancient trees over 600 years old rise up to 30 meters above the ground.

From the heart of the park, we’ll venture into the wild, reaching the stunning Catedral de Arrayanes, where the dense greenery opens up to an arrayán forest, with trees over 25 meters tall. A cathedral of filtered light and reddish trunks. We’ll then follow the extensive Río Bravo, traversing an ancient evergreen forest representative of the Chiloé forest ecosystem, filled with mosses, lichens, shrubs, and mature trees. We’ll rest at Plaza los Mañíos and finish at the imposing Río Bravo Waterfall. Includes a box lunch with a sandwich, fruit, snacks, and a drink.

Embark on an exciting night hike through Parque Tepuhueico, searching for and identifying the sounds and tracks of Chiloé’s nocturnal wildlife, such as the pudú, Darwin’s fox, monito del monte, birds like the concon, and amphibians like the masked frog. With one of our park rangers, you’ll explore the Pacific coast of the park, starting at Quilán Beach with its pampas and dunes, crowned by the Muelle del Tiempo. After passing through impressive cliffs and enjoying privileged views, you’ll head to the beach whose name reflects the colors of the forest, sand, and sea. You’ll learn about the area’s centuries-old fishing and gathering traditions, connecting with the island’s ancestors who left traces of their presence in the region. Includes transportation and a box lunch with a sandwich, fruit, snacks, and a drink.
