The Pudu

The smallest deer in the Americas, sensitive yet trusting, an emblem of tenderness and agility.

The Monito del Monte

A nocturnal marsupial, a true “living fossil” that has not evolved for millennia. Its presence will transport you to prehistoric times.

Darwin’s Fox

Also known as the Chiloé Fox, the most endangered canid in the world, endemic to the island and reigning at the top of the food chain in these forests.

The Huillín

The elusive river otter, found only in the rivers and lakes of northern Patagonia, in severe danger of extinction due to past hunting for fur.

KodKod Cat

The ultimate rarity, which in these forests is often melanistic. Being small, dark, nocturnal, and living in some of the densest forests on Earth, among the treetops, makes it one of the most cryptic felines on the planet.
